Abyss

by Deborah Perez

The author has placed a warning on this post for violence.
A pinnacle of time
 Immeasurably severed
Deluded wasteland
A requiem from which a dream descended.

A figment of their own delusional thinking
Strays are the leaves from an unbranched tree limb
A game of thorns at its best
That but which from faith plays a major role
In a hidden world and, "Oh, so transparent "
From which thousands fail to kneel before his presence... A seeking

There is so much hate.. So much pain.. Teardrops
Sinking in the edge of inhumanity
So open your ears.. Scorch your own eyes.. And cut off thine own togue
For those whom have eyes are but blind
And those with ears but deaf
They listen with their own heart
abut search within the words of from which man a' sayeth
That speakers a no TRUTH!!!
