My response to the cynics

Writing Prompt Write a poem of any type. But it must have exactly 25 syllables total. |
My response to the cynics. Why are such topics deemed paltry, that one ''stoops'' to write them?
I can and do write of abuse, violence, and calamities, at times. Perhaps these are more acceptable to some. I also write of nature, philosophy, God, strangers who have made an impact. In short, I write of whatever is meaningful to me about life itself. Some things I choose not to write about.
I write what I choose. Such comments are water off a duck's back, for me.
Let's give each other freedom of choice without cynical mocking or ''funny'' but maybe hurtful comments.
It's the quality of the writing which is important, whatever the theme or topic.
