No Lights do I See
No Sounds of Joy
No More Hearts of Glee
Just Faces of Anguish
Bitter and Torn
December is Over
And "January Mourns"
Attitudes are Sour
And Tempers Soar
No Coming Together
Like a Few Days Before
There's Yelling and Screaming
And Hands do not Join
December is Over
And "January Mourns"
All is Forgotten
Of the "Light Of Life"
No More Remembrance
Of God's Gift, Who is "Christ"
So Sad, but, So True
As Trees are Untrimmed
Compassion and Love
Ebbs Oh So, So Thin
It was Glorious and Beautiful
Now the Air Filled with Scorn
'Cause December is Over
And "January Mourns"
