What a Dreadful Prompt

Use These Words Contest Winner 
 
The fellowship of poets here
too often frown at these.
So don't suggest dark words like 'dread.'
Use 'joy' and 'love' and 'please.'

Make prompts with only happy words
that all old women crave.
So they can craft such lovely writes
before they reach the grave.

This simple prompt so sadly rolled
for reasons I confessed.
If not for joy and happiness
what else could be expressed?

My entry fills the fifth lone spot,
so you can thank me then.
For you'll be spared the heinous crime...
to see this roll again.

Just goofing around, folks. Relax.

At the time I posted this, the contest had already rolled once
and to be honest, I didn't figure more people would enter so
I took the fifth spot so it wouldn't roll again. Looks like I
jumped the gun. Lol.
