The Time I Have Left

by nomi338

The Time I have Left

As the creator of life looks upon his creation

He observes animals and people from every nation.

The snowcapped mountains, the lofty trees,

The fluffy clouds, the bountiful seas.

Bear cubs engaging in playful scrimmage,

Industrious mankind made in God’s image.

The Creator is hurt by the evil some display,

He did not design us to act this way.

His son Jesus Christ, advised against hate,

knowing that some might learn too late.

Those who do not learn will thus pay the cost,

Never changing their ways, they will be lost.

To squander my chances, would leave me bereft,

So, I’ll make good use of the time I have left.

No one alive today has a clue to how long they will live, therefore, it would be wise to make carefully thought-out decisions before we act.
