Exceptional
This work has reached the exceptional level
Where it all began

My All In All

I looked into a stable today and as I did I knelt to pray
just by the manger full of hay as it was on that day
a couple weary the girl with child, she herself meek and mild
he a carpenter for sure clean eager but very poor
no status, no stability doing God's will so mankind could see
this act of obedience for all eternity
would be both accepted and rejected
There was no King but Herod, until this babe was born
there was no safety for Herod created a storm
and killed all male toddlers in an attempt to reform
his power and dignity
And though there was no sign nor sight
of animals as there might
I still felt your presence there beside me as I prayed
Lord I'm so glad you stayed
Love and encouragement You conveyed
How simple was the barn surrounds, a shelter of the day
for you growing in poverty ask us to obey
how can I otherwise my love for you convey
You are My All in All
