Faith Rewarded

by Tyler Withrow

A child’s smile; a sunny day. The beauty of existence; celestial perfection.

This is how my faith is rewarded.

An end to sadness; a return to grace. A return to Him; a renewed hope.

This is how my faith is rewarded.

I have doubted, I have questioned. I have found my redemption. When I am lost, it’s Him I find.

This is how my faith is rewarded.

I provide aid. I provide care. I provide help to the helpless. With humility I ask, with gratitude I receive.

This is how my faith is rewarded.

When old love is lost and new love is achieved. From the darkest pits and despair’s depths, I rise.

This is how my faith is rewarded.

Perfect beauty in a disfigured world. A great grandmother holds a baby after a century of life.

This is how my faith is rewarded.

Near death experience; survivors walk away unscathed. In the beginning there was sin. In the end, we were redeemed.

This is how my faith is rewarded.

Flowers bloom; spring arrives; a new day dawns. Those afraid find strength. Those terrorized find tranquility. The cold find warmth.

This is how my faith is rewarded.

Faith is when you believe in all things possible. When you know in your heart what your eyes can’t see. A world worth living for and a love worth dying for. This is how my faith is rewarded.

This is how my faith is rewarded.
