Dashing For Dollars

by Boogienights

Doordashing can be quite interesting.
Whatever you may need, is what I'll bring!
An auto part, good food, or meds to cope,
I'll be there soon so, please don't give up hope.

Just order on the app, give it a try,
but don't forget my tip or I might cry.
Sometimes doordashing can be quite a pain,
it doesn't pay well, there's not much to gain.

I use a lot of gas, my car's a beater,
it gets cold in winter, there's no heater.
There's not much walking, it saves on my feet,
and they pay every day, so I can eat.

If you should find your food cold, don't blame me.
I'd get it to you quicker but you see...
order delays, traffic, with bad weather
stymie me, my ratings could be better.

Delectable smells keep me on my toes,
my stomach growls as scents assault my nose.
I can't stand Mickey D's but oh, the smell,
will lead me straight to Big Mac fast food hell!

Some customers at times can be so rude,
"I'm missing all the sauces in here dude!"
How would I know? I can't open the bag,
but I have to go back, it's such a drag!

Is doordashing something I like to do?
I guess it's okay, but this much is true,
"till I can get a bachelor's degree,
on your doorstep with Pizza Hut I'll be.
