Underground

The author has placed a warning on this post for violence.
We found the cave. In the form of a man. He was compounded from evil. We were each on our own. Through different paths we remained engulfed in the same darkness .There was no way out? We both became further lost.  The man drew us to the cave by smothering us in fear with a tattered map and the promises of riches. The further we went, always alone, the more the fear grew. We knew of nowhere else. We walked along a narrow path, always returning to the beginning. No compass to direct us. We both grew accustomed to wrong turns. We both were consumed by lack of hope. As the consistency remained the darkness thickened. The man appeared. I felt nothing as I instantly became infinite light. The contrast resulted in shock. The man tried hard to etch his evil into our being. He wanted nothing else. He desecrated for control. The flashes of light and heat became our path to safety. The path was difficult and sad. I was a beacon for help. She never stopped needing it. Smolder remained. From those ashes I rebuilt. The map now confused the evil man. He felt the loss of control. He embarked on his self driven path. His trajectory engulfed him now. The other woman was always feeling nonexistent. She remained shattered and broke. Burnt by evil as well. Caught in the shadow between light and darkness . The cave was how he spread his evil. Trapped, lost, buried in darkness. The man laughed at the women he thought so easily were conquered. How many women never found their way out? I finally met the other woman while I continued to resurface from the remnants. This was my time to heal. Her wounds were still raw. Day after night after day she spinned in circles. There was no other path to take. The man's evil still smothered her into recluse. Evil has its own time to be conquered. It never went away. The key locked the box and the man was gone. His memory is still terrifying. The girl remained close to the cave. She knew nowhere else to go. The sun went up and down six times. She was defeated through evil. It infiltrates and spreads the closer you stay. The sun went up and down seven times. She never found her way out. Transgression kept its promise. Now the light shines bright from the Sky. It is the only light to exist. The sun will rise and set in the Sky more than six or seven times. This can't be extinguished.

On November 13, 2022 I was attacked with an accelerant and was immediately on fire. I awoke 45 days later in an intensive burn unit hours away from where it occurred. While I fought for my life so did Sky, the other woman. She was locked in a new extremely violent and abusive relationship with this much older monster. I fought with my body full of 30% 3rd degree burns as well as the internal inhalation damage. Sky simultaneously was burnt with hot pans heated as much as possible, on her most intimate parts and much more. Her arm was broken with the pot after it cooled. Our scars so much more than surface. I met Sky after I was discharged from the hospital and further learned of the evil invoked not only on me. On December 19,2023 the evil man was sentenced to 50 years to life in prison. Six days later on Christmas morning, at 23 years old, Sky was shot in the face. Attacked by evil once more. She fought for her life again, but succumbed to the injuries 7 days later. Sky's memory and guidance for herself and other women in compromising situations will always shine on.
