Im getting married this is a letter to my dad

Is it Paradise?

Came to tell you that he proposed

with his grandma’s ring made of gold

I believe in him like I used to you

He loves me like the Sun if I was the moon

 

Word is you’re in a better place

Wonder if you’d say that to my face

Everyone says that you found peace

With the angels, are you free without me?

 

I heard you’re happy, is it paradise?

I heard you’re lookin’ down with Elvis, is it paradise?

I always thought you’d be there when I’m in white,

You said I was your angel, maybe that’s why. 

I’ll be wearing my heart as ‘something blue’

when I walk myself to him without you

Is it paradise?

 

Does heaven help you forget about me? 

Have you heard he’s the man of my dreams?

Everyone tells me about your new set of wings will they

Tell you I’m starting my own family?

 

I heard you’re happy, is it paradise?
