Baseball and the Bridge

75 Word Story Contest Winner
The boys only tolerated each other, not really friends.
One afternoon outside a Frosty Freeze, Art shouted, “I like baseball."
"Me too,” said Billy.
“Yeah, me too,” replied Quinn.
Joey wanted to say “me too” but he couldn’t throw a baseball.
They stared at him then glanced away, ready to ride their bridge of baseball to friendship without him.
"I farted,” Joey said. “It was a beauty.”
Suddenly they rode a bridge of laughter instead.
