Music is everywhere.

Musical Alphabet

A is for 'Arpsichord the kind the cockney plays
B is for Bagpipes heard on banks and braes
C is for Concertina most popular in France
D is for Dulcimer in Grecian song and dance
E is for Electric organ and guitar
F is for Flute and flutist found in every Irish Bar.
G is for Gramaphone the first recorded sound
H is for Harmonium in mission halls it was found.
I is for Italian Tenor who loves to serenade
J is for Juke Box in clubs and pubs it is played
K is for the Kettle drum, rumpetty~tumpetty~tum
L is for Lute an instrument that Minstrels used to strum
M is for Music Box often found in the nursery
N is for Nocturnes made famous in Chopin's solo piano repertory
O is for the Oboe a most melodious sound
P is for Piano as played the whole world round
Q is for Quaver a tremulous sounding note
R is for the Rhapsody in Blue~ that Gerswhin wrote
S is for Saxaphone that jazzy, swinging sound
T is for Trumpet and Trombone in nearly every band found
U is for Ukelele as all Hawaiian's know
V is for Violin played with a slender bow
W is for Whistle piercing, sharp and shrill
X is for Xylophone where the performers are never still
Y is for Yodeling in Switzerland you get` AND
Z is for the Zither to complete the Alphabet

Writing Prompt
Write an abecdarian poem, using the 26 letters of the alphabet chronologically. An abecedarian poem is a special form of an acrostic poem, in which the initial letters of the words beginning each line or stanza spell out the alphabet in order.

I wrote this many years ago. A fun and challenging poem. It seems to be a cross between ABC and Abecdarian. Leave others to judge. Enjoy .
