Exceptional
This work has reached the exceptional level
May God bless and love her

Me Mam

Today,
 
Me mam passed away.
 
Our sacred family flame
 
That burned so bright
 
Shall dance and flicker no more.
 
She was our life's joy.
 
She made us laugh.
 
She made us strong
 
She made us weep.
 
She melted the hearts of all she'd meet.
 
Her singing voice was magical,
 
Sweeter than a nightingale's.
 
I thought I'd never heard an angel sing
 
How wrong I've been for she was one.
 
We are gathered here shedding tears.
 
We all weep for her but do not despair.
 
For these are tears of joy
 
That she left behind for us all to share.
 
May God bless and keep her safe,
 
For he has called her home
 
To take her rightful place
 
In the Irish angels choir.
