In my heart I treasure words of love beyond all measure:

       "Love you to the moon and back! " I'm told – 

       Oh, laughing words of pure delight …

       Valued, precious hugs, worth more than gold …

       Each day a gift, from morn till night.

Yet, I know that as my time draws near,

Over yonder I must surely go …

Up to my Father, so kind and dear,

       To meet the One I long to know –

       Our Lord, watching o’er me here below.

Thankful for times with family –

He's gifted a child-rich life to me …

Each day I'm moved by the love I see. 

       Make the most of each hour, I say …

       Occasions are precious, share time with each,

       Or speak about His grace, or pray,

      No one’s too far for love to reach!

And as I see my loved ones grow,

Noting how fast my days will pass –

Deep joy with them makes my face glow.

       But I, one day, will fade like grass

       And time and life I soon will lack …

       Children, know I love you just as He does –

      Kids, I love you to the moon and back!
