How many times have you wished

and not even known

what you were wishing for?

Waking up on a bright

sunshine kind of day - yet

when you look at the world

you see only gray.

The birds are singing but you don't hear their song -

the sun is shining but you see only clouds.

Something is missing and you don't

know what it is - and so you wish.

Not knowing what you're wishing for -

Yet you wish.

You keep wishing until you remember once hearing -

          Those eyes you are using

           are unable to see --

Gaze through the ones in your heart instead.

That's where you will find what was missing.

That's where you will see the world God created.

There you will see the beauty and love no cloud can hide.

That's where you will find

your wishes have already come true.
