Rebirth

Wither and Bloom

by Walter Gress

When age takes toll

And new life births

As youth grows old

And unaware,

New light grows grey

Mankind ‘proaches death

From birth I’m told

We grow,

Unaware of old

Yet bringing upon new

Time passes on

From seedling to bloom.
