Loving You

Loving you should be my ultimate goal ... but I am 
Often left simply wondering why?
Various reasons consume my soul 
Initiating the answers to my 
questioning cry!
Negative thoughts are soon pushed away
Gradually introducing new thoughts to stay.
 
You and I are simply 
One of the whole and we
Ultimately know ....
      loving one's selfish is our ultimate goal.

We need to learn to love ourselves first in order to love, or be loved, by others ,
I also took liberty with the Acrostic style, rhythm and rhyme for this no rules poetry contest.
And I love myself for it. Lol
