If you don’t like the painting, get close to admire the brush strokes.

Monostich writing prompt entry
Writing Prompt
Write a monostich poem that consists of a single line. The Poem must have a title of one or two words. The poem must have a philosophical message either literal, simile or metaphor.
Example:
"Regret," by Robert Lee Brewer

I hold a chip bag that only holds crumbs.

This is something I was recommended to do whenever I visit an art gallery a lot can be learned by how the artist has applied their paint.
It is also an allegory for poetry appreciation. I might not like the poem but I can admire the metre, the form, the rhyming and the alliteration etc.
Pays one point and 2 member cents.
