An Old Sea Tale

by fm wright

Buried 'neath
briny sea,
least ways was
told to me,

a sunken
ship does lie,
its cargo
yet still dry.

A large chest
full of gold
can be found
in its hold.

Though brave men
still do quest,
looking both
east and west,

finding out
where it be
remains a
mystery.

If it's gold
that you seek,
know it's not
for the meek.

Those who've tried
lost at sea,
least ways was
told to me.
