Jake gathered seashells. Mollie strolled ahead, her feet sinking into the soft sand.
Waves lapped gently on the shore washing over a corked bottle.
‘Message in a bottle,’ Mollie mused.
Bending down she tugged at it. Through the glass she read a message, ‘Jake I love you. Andrea.’
Mollie froze.
