Sometimes we wish we had Just one more minute, hour, or day To spend with loved ones Who suddenly leave our side.   We wish we had gone to one more game Which our daughter or son played. We wish we had given our spouse Just one more kiss or hug "that" day.   We wish we had taken Just one more hour that day To find the special gift Our sibling wanted that Christmas Day.   We wish we had said "I love you" Or "I'm sorry" just one more time To a best friend and neighbor Before they moved away.   We wish we had given our children  One more kiss or embrace When they needed comforting words,  And their eyes filled with tears.
