The Wonder of a Child
by dovemarie
Wow! The snow falling down looks like dancers and cake frosting on the trees! When I look into the beach water, the sand and fishes are moving around from one place to another. I try to pick up a fish, but it slides away from my fingers. The stars in the sky look like tiny lights that I wish I could reach. I would like to turn on the lights the way Mommy turns on a light in my room. Rain splashes down on me like Mom pouring water over my head to wash my hair in the tub. The light from the sun feels like the heat in my bedroom on a cold winter day. All the world is like a playground when I run and play at recess in school. I love this place!
