A story about being satisfied.
Morning
by Henry Wesevich
I’ve always loved sunrise. So, when I couldn’t take another step on that warm morning it felt oddly peaceful as I lay in the grass staring at the sky. My thoughts spread slowly through my mind. I felt serene and beautiful, my skinny body splayed out on the earth. And in that moment, I didn’t think of the misery. I thought of all the beautiful moments I had had, and I left this world peacefully.
