a South of the Border lover

Trish

by jim vecchio

Oy oy oy Buena, oy!

Oy oy oy, Buena!

Buena, Buena, Buena-onda!*

Buena onda chula! Chula!* My pet!

Oy Oy!

I love you much better than Rita

‘Trish, you’re a real hot burrito!

Trish, my south of the border mosquito

Give a tiny kiss to your Benecio!

Oy! Oy!

Buena, Buena

Buena and a-chula, oy!

When you’re with me, life is a picnic

When you’re gone, I get heartsick

Oy! Oy!

One taste of your lips gets me sock-o

You’re much hotter than a spicy taco!

Please don’t leave, I know I’ll want you back

My world without you is one big gas attack

‘Trish te crees muy muy*, little pet

If you’re good, I’ll take you on a jet

And we’ll fly, fly, fly, fly

Fly fly, fly fly away, ‘Trish, my pet

And when we get somewhere

I’ll run my hands through your black hair

And we’ll love, love

Love, love, ‘Trish, Chido!*
