Grandpaâs Resting Hours

Toward the end of his life,

I read to my Grandpa in Italian,

This was his native tongue,

It was about a Pooh bear who ate too much honey,

And got stuck in a cave opening,

His friend Tigger pulled him out,

I loved reading to Grandpa,

I wanted to show him that I became more skilled in Italian,

Before he laid his head to rest.

I love him.
