A poem about this skeleton I saw in a car

Archie, The Tennis Player

by Brenda Strauser

Hi, I'm Archie, the skeleton

just hanging around and talking to the car aside of me

Don't be afraid

I'm not the usual scary guy

I'm bored with Halloween

All the shrieking,  screaming and howling

Don't need it, don't want it

People are different why can't skeletons be?

How do you like my new look?

Decked out with my pink kerchief

Trusty ball, ready to play tennis

What do you think?

I took the picture after I went from a walk in a park. This car, with this skeleton in the passengers side was sitting next to my car. The owner called him Archie. I thought this would be a good picture. The lady was playing tennis with other players.
