Being quite chaste in her behavior
she stood silently in the room
wanting a young man to see,
 he could value her worth
then he would ask her
to go with him
as his date
for the
prom.

When I heard this morning the word demure is the word of the year I thought I would try to write a Nonet about it. The word demure means of a woman who is reserved modest and shy.
