Finding his Princess (part two)

In the land of Nod, young prince Rudolph often used a beautiful carriage to take him around the villages in his kingdom. He had seen a beautiful young  maiden named Gwendolyn. She lived in the kingdom however, she was only a commoner. 

Since young Prince Rudolph was in need of finding a beautiful young lady, he could call his princess.

He would  often go into the village and there he would see young Gwendolyn as she would be selling her produce at market. You see, her family was a hard-working farm family and she had to take part in selling the farm produce. She would sell fresh vegetables, fresh fruit, eggs, butter, and milk at market.

Always when the handsome prince would see her at market, he would get a catch in his throat that told him she is so beautiful. He was trying to imagine how in the world she could ever be his princess. Yet, he was not willing to give up on his dream of finding the right girl to become his princess.

The handsome young prince had searched far and wide and was not able to find anyone that would compare to the beautiful young Gwendolyn. 

So, one day, his father the king having noticed his son‘s quiet, longing, the king started devising a plan. He would invite all the villagers to come to a grand harvest festival in the castle gardens, where everyone could celebrate together with the handsome Prince.

It was a rare occasion for the castle to open its gates to the towns people and Gwendolyn and her family came bringing their finest produce to offer as gifts. 

The gifts that Gwendolyn's family brought to the festival were noticed by the king and his son. They were so impressed with the gifts and the thoughtfulness behind them.

The King pulled his son aside to talk to him and he said, "I think young Glendalin is a beautiful young lady, and I think she would be a very good addition to our royal family. So I would suggest that you go to her father and ask him for her hand in marriage."

With a smile on his face, the sunset dad "thank you so much. I appreciate that you feel that Gwendolyn could be a real asset to our royal family and I will go do that very thing right now. 

The prince went over and found Gwendolyn's father to have a chat with him. He shook the father's hand and ask this very important question, sir. "I would like to ask you if I could have your daughter's hand in marriage?"

The father responded, "Your Highness, I am so honored that you would want to have my daughter as your princess. So, I will approve of that marriage."

so, the Prince did that very thing he went to Gwendolyndeal down on one knee and ask her if she would marry him.
 

Young Gwendolyn with a blushing face and almost having tears in her eyes, with a tremblingvoice said, "yes, I will marry you."
