and the Catch is the One
Ninety-Nine Reasons
by mrgrunty
Bolted horses counting hens we're off to work and back again Recognition of the day with hope that there's another way Alabaster coloured skies are visible through winter's eyes Dreaming wishes will come true the wasted wishes worn by you Making planning saving face the hardened spine a saving grace First to falter last to choose accept the fact that you will lose Knee-jerk questions shoulder arms creating answers greasing palms Best intentions gone and spent despairing at the one percent Taking breaking stealing dreams there is no recourse here it seems Ninety-nine are brave and strong yet one is power right or wrong Counting horses bolted hens forgive yourself and make amends Recognition of the way while wishing hope and dreams to stay |
