Enter the shop inconspicuous blot;
Assistant devil asked, "Pleasure or Pain?"
"Ooooo, pleasure please!" Little man's reply came;
Assistant devil gave vice and advised.

"Ooooo, pleasure it is!" Said the little man;
"Use it wisely, again and again!"
Intrigued he asked, "How much and what's the pain?"
Assistant devil glared, "I'll send the bill!"

"No, seriously!" Little man still inquired;
"I'll show you the pain: it all costs the same!"
Little man closed his eyes, the pleasure had
Flashed across his mind a banner bold read:

Little man woke with a start; devil asked,
"Pleasure or Pain?" Little man looked afraid.
Somehow the pleasure did not look the same;
Little man bowed before his grave and prayed.
