Going for a walk one day, Or so she tells us anyway, Little Goldy in the wood Discerned a cottage, thought it good. In spite of knowing it was sin, Like a thief she breezed right in. Oatmeal porridge sat there steaming; Could it be that she was dreaming? Kids, you know that this was wrong, She supped a plateful ere too long After guzzling that fine fare Next she tried a little chair, Destroyed it just like that. Oh Crap! Thought she'd like a little nap. How could she even think of sleeping? Escaping would be more in keeping Tripping up the rose-twined stairs, Hungrily there came three bears; Remarked the porridge that she'd polished, Eyed the chair that she'd demolished. Even fairy-story Bruins Become quite cross if someone ruins Everything they planned to eat And Baby's darling little seat. Regrettably the sleeping sinner Served the bears for early dinner! |
