It ain't always wise to let it all hang out...
The Mayors' Stroll
by Dean Kuch
The Mayors' Stroll Dean Kuch One bright and sunny August day, as the Mayor strolled along his way, raucous laughter, much to his dismay, always accompanied his approachin'. Infuriated, he continued on his way, enraged by such a chilidish display, 'There sure is something I'd like to say!'; But, these thoughts remained unspoken. As he passed Ms.Winters beneath a tree, (a resident since nineteen-twenty three), the Mayor tipped his hat with glee... Greeted by her coughs and chokin'. He happened upon a mom with carriage; who'd recently been avowed to marriage; "Away!" she cried, truly disparaged, and ran away, her stroller broken. It troubled him more, this indignation, coupled with this unknown situation! 'Til at last, he'd reached his destination; His courteous 'hellos' merely a token. He entered and began the meeting, all previous encounters vaguely fleeting, and called them all up from their seating, when all the townsfolk began their jokin'! "Adjourned!"he spat, feeling quite betrayed, boiling anger, pent up he now displayed; "You despicable fools, you will all pay, for this fun at me you're pokin'!" They pondered what it was he'd meant, after all, his member was evident, hanging out in wilted discontent , before the Town Council of Yoken. Yoken's town elder Pearson then was sent to point out the Mayor's trouser vent, so blushing, the Mayor looked down and bent... to see, indeed; his trousers fly was broken! |
