A Nove Otto poem for the contest

Puddles

by tfawcus

When all the world seems grey and dark,
and rain has swept across the park,
observe, with childlike innocence,
reflections of the trees and sky,
and how the clouds go flying by.
For children this is more intense.
Mere thought? No child would stop at that.
They jump right in! Both feet go splat!
When life's a game, it makes more sense.
