I am not perfect
or so I have been told.
No one really wants to be,
at least that is what I think.

There was a day
many years ago,
when I was asked
to self-evaluate.

I tell you now that,
this was not my favorite chore.
I liked it better to hear
what others thought.

The task was difficult
and I watched others struggle.
One tended to find
so many faults.

They wrote this and that
It was a frustrating
challenge indeed.
A change, of course.

My cocky attitude,
my smart mouthed responses,
always created problems
and affected my grades.

It was almost expected
that I would over rate
myself,
Humor was needed.

That was my thought.
So I simply wrote:
'How can I improve?
I am perfect!'
