And ever after...

Still

Your movements stirred my dreams last night –
     I thought I might
     Turn and caress
     Perhaps  undress…

But then my consciousness took hold –
     Inured to cold,
     Seeped through each vein,
     Recalled the pain…

Years after I have said farewell,
     Your graveside spell
     Won’t  let  me  go –
     You’re   all   I   know . . .

For those of you who know that it's actually my time for celebrating, you're RIGHT!! ;) ;) And, believe me, I AM celebrating! ;) :) However, being the OCD person that I am, this was written before I was deluged in May with LIFE (good thing, too, since I'm still in activity recovery mode - lol!) .... so, here it is! :) Thank you for reading me! :)
