A conversation with God.
My Prayer to God

Dear God,
Can we sit on this bench and talk for awhile. There is so much I do not understand.
Many difficult times have come my way: cancer, death, mental illness, substance abuse and more. ....but I have learned to trust you more.
As I sit on this bench tonight, all I ask is just to rest. Take care of those I love. Keep them, guide them and meet their needs. I have nothing left to give.
Let me lay down by your still waters. I want to sleep deeply in your love. Wake me, when I feel restored.
This is all I need to ask. As you leave, I will sit on this bench and watch the sun go down. Joy always comes in the morning.
