Sarah sat in the shade of the fruit tree. With a flick of her wrist, she flung the half eaten apple and without realizing, her wedding ring. She brushed herself off and ran to help her husband at the plow.
Decades later, her granddaughter strolled through the orchard, amazed to find her Grandmother's ring, embedded in the apple tree bark.
