Ode to King Jesus

Beautiful!
My King, you are so beautiful,
There’s no darkness in you at all -
Dear Lord in every way, you are so beautiful to me.

Wonderful!
In grace and mercies bountiful,
There’s no darkness in you at all -
I am amazed by all your ways,
They are so beautiful to me!
 
The bluest skies, the deepest seas,
The brightest stars shining at night could never be
Nearly as beautiful -
 No, not as beautiful to me.

Nothing I touch, nothing I see,
Nothing within this fallen world could ever be
Nearly as beautiful -
 Oh, You're so beautiful to me!
 
Lord, let your beauty flow through me.
Let my light shine and by my works, let others see,
Your ways are beautiful, so very beautiful to me.

My Lord your ways are beautiful,
There’s no darkness in you at all!
Dear Lord in all your ways,
You are so beautiful to me!

It has always been my belief that if we truly love Jesus, we love him because of who he is and for the redemptive work he did on the cross for us all. The best way to show that we truly love him and his ways, is to let our light so shine before men, and display his ways in our own lives, to the glory of God the Father. Matthew 5:16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
