Temptation in the midnight hours
Devil's powers
Satanic grip
A lashing whip

The fruit is sweet, pleasing my eye
Caught in a lie
Devilish snare
In hell fire's lair

Temptation can be overcome
From 'neath his thumb
Pray to be free
Tempter will flee
