Colors of a Rainbow

by dovemarie

I opened my eyes to the colors of a rainbow,
Misty pinks, hazy gold, teal blues
They arched through the sunrise
Sparkling, various hues

The colors of a rainbow
Were like a promise after rain
They put on a magnificent show
And they eased my pain
