America tattered, but her better days are not over

A chapter in the book Heart Cafted Poems - 2020

Tattered But Not Done

by JLR

America,
are her
glory days gone?
it's time to write
a new song about the
home of a handful of people
whose causes they support - can trample on
the legacy of generations - of the brave who
fought and died, so they could have this day
to say, "I hate America, I hate you, I hate."
"We don't want the freedom you died for. We want
to tear down everything including history; no one can
learn what price freedom costs; to live without
laws and cops; no honor, to let
freedom be, no more, no more!"
"Burn it Down, we say."
We know you are
angry, so are
we! America
Stand!
