I just love the picture you have it is so bright and colorful. In this day and age you forget what your neighbor looks like. We are becoming isolated and lacking in real human contact.

Yes... and we must strive NOT to, my friend! Thank you for both your time and comments!

This naani, They're Still Your Neighbors, has the proper formatting and uses twenty-five syllables to remind the readers that the current troubles will calm and those people will be your friends again.

I love this write as I am reminded that my neighbours still exist! I see my one neighbour often and he has a new cat and because of Covid I am unable to stroke it as I keep my distance. I loved your presentation here of how life once was when we saw our neighbours frequently and now we stay indoors, love Dolly x

So easy just to get wrapped up in ourselves being cooped up with just the tele that we can't let it affect our relationships... Thank you so much for your time and your wonderful comments!

During this time of political turmoil, I can imagine that neighbors as well as friends and relatives of different political views can have been separated. But yes, we must hold our neighbors above our opinions.
Best wishes in the contest!

Hello, anonymous,
Excellent entry for the Write a Naani writing prompt contest. It's a new form to me and I love it. I want to try it. Good syllable count and connection between lines. Pretty presentation. Good luck in the contest.

I really like your Naani.
You've encapsulated two important isses in such a few words: there is more unrest now than at any time in our lifetimes and we must not lose sight of the value we still have in our lives, including our friendships.
The artwork is a nice addition. I like that you used a drawing and not a photo. It makes all the turmoil seem less dangerous and divisive than a photo would.
Your poem made me feel better in these turbulent times because it helps us remember what's important in a time of ultimate confusion. I surely thank you for that.

A great poetic message for the current times. It takes me back to a time many years and years ago when what you so creatively penned I actually experienced (within a work environment). We all see it around us today, and it is so very sad.
I enjoyed your Naani; thank you so much for creating and sharing.

Dear Mystery Poet,
(I think I know who this is? I'm gonna check when I'm done reviewing...)
This is a special and smart piece. I don't know what's happened to this world. We can all be neighbors and brothers -- it's only our egos that separate us.
Thank you! and Good luck!
