I enjoyed your fun contest entry. Your lines read well, the rhymes, work, and your words are well thought out in fun. I could picture everything you mentioned.
Because this is a rhyming contest, I believe a small revise in the last verse will improve the rhyme.
May I suggest ~
Chiming in and making a b-line to the food table shrine!
Stimed (Stymied) for time too cause I'm not inane!
