Congratulations on winning the contest. This is poignant and so telling!
Someone once asked my dad how he felt about looking in the mirror and seeing "All those wrinkles." His blue eyes twinkled as he said "I've earned every one of them!"

What a positive spin on something potentially unpleasant! I'm going to repeat this as a mantra to myself from now on every time I look in the mirror!! Thank you, Mystery Contestant! I also like the rendering you posted with this entry. Very appealing, indeed. Good luck in the contest. You have my vote.

Every wrinkle should be a thing of pride, but I still fight to get rid of them. Wrinkles on others don't bother me, silly to fight a losing battle. Your poem reminds us to be proud of who we are. I like that. Good luck in the contest.

you got that right. Wrinkles can tell or show exactly how life has treated a person. When a person gets older the wrinkles naturally come without any effort. Good luck in the contest.

Yes, indeed, they are what tell of our history. And no one can really erase or hide the roadmap of a life lived. Good poem for the contest. Best of luck.

I remember the first time trying to read an atlas as a boy while in the car with my family. So many different colored lines. What do they mean?
Your metaphor works! Trying to read a life written in wrinkles is like reading an atlas.

This is beautiful!
The wrinkles of time tell so many stories.
Your choice of photo was perfect.
That man's face has a lot more to tell...an atlas of where he has been.
Super job!

-Nice artwork and presentation.
-The syllable count is good, along with the topic.
-Effective imagery and a good comparison of
wrinkles to "the atlas of life."
-Good luck in the contest.

A very clever and creative 2-4-2 both in words and presentation capturing
aging in a perfect way.
Good luck in the contest; it should be a contender.
Best wishes,
Mary
