You did a wonderful job describing the unconditional love that God wants each one of us to find. Thank you for sharing this entry with us. I enjoyed reading and want to wish you luck with the contest.

Hi there,
Thank you for sharing your entry in the Love Poem Poetry Contest. The words work well, and I found myself 'seeing' the characters through the clip art you chose.
Good luck in the contest,
~MP~

That really is beautiful. My hope is you'll still feel that way in fifty years. And I hope also he cried when you showed him what you'd written. There is nothing sweeter than true love. This year my wife and I notch up fifty years. Would you mind if I stole that poem and gave it to her on our anniversary in November.

A sweet natured post about love and how it has developed over time and the writer reflects on the fate and ponders about the path taken here and what would have happened if they had not met. A warm hearted love poem for the contest, love Dolly x

Thank you, your reviews are so thoughtful. :)

I really like how your what if's (negative) then transformed into what ifs (positive). Your poem is a beautiful statement of your love and appreciation of your partner.
Thanks for sharing, Julie.

Nice to see what-if's as a way to cherish the relationship one is in, instead of what-if's after the end of the connection. Well written and brings a smile. The only change I would be is to add a little background color that reflects the emotion you felt when you wrote the words. Color brings so much!
Kudos and good luck~ Wy
