Hi,
The poor, brave sock. So lonely on that shelf. I am glad it was found by its owner and now can do her job again.
Keep writing and stay healthy
Good luck in the contest.
Have a great day.

This was a very cute poem about a lost sock that was finally found. You gave a good personality to your little sad sock. Best of luck to you.

This is a cute poem with end rhymes. I thought it read pretty well. The missing pink sock has held out long enough and is finally found for the lonely mate all alone on a shelf. I had to go look up self-anoint. I had not heard of that term before. Good luck in the contest!

You made me smile with this story and socks can indeed become lost and I have a drawer full of odd socks that cannot be matched so there is much mourning going on in my chest of drawers. A fun post, love Dolly x

Ah, Dolly, I think it is a dilemma in every house. Usually, our lost socks end up caught in clothing because we use the clothes dryer more often than the clothesline. Poor old Tom, he comes off worst.

Oh, lost sock that you ever come to me...
It's always the expensive ones that choose to disappear, probably to find a worthier foot to embrace. I like your story of a lost sock, especially the pure fantasy of an ending where you FIND it.
