That's one heck of a long time to wait for a kiss. LOL But, the poem is beautiful as is the presentation. Thank you for sharing this very passionate club entry with us. Once again, you're way above the others.

You always describe longing well. And you know how to conjure up all the senses which is why you're such a passionate poet. Enjoyed your choka poem with its lovely illustration!

Well-well-well MariVal(((((((,
haven't these enticing words coated my sensibility in a warm embrace!
What a truly delightful form of poetry the choka is... but under no illusion and know full well, the masters make it look and sound easy:)
There's nothing in the entirety of this stunning poem that I don't absolutely love. Each word and syllable takes its place in the magic of the message woven through the fabric of its intent... yes, a very warm hug indeed!
The build up was sublime and the conclusion... well for me, wasn't a finish at all... it echoed and came back around.
Most stunning in composition, construction and the beauty of your presentation, as always spotless!
I've officially being 'Choka'd'!
With our thoughts we create...
the songs of our soul.
Warmest regards,
Jamie.

James, your beautiful words warm my soul. I'm happy you like my choka poem. Japanese poetry is so beautiful and perfect for you and me, we are visual intuitive people. I hope being choka'd is a good thing (*<>*) lol
You are so kind, your words and exceptional six stars review mean a lot to me.
Con cariņo,
MariVal

the pics you have right beneath the main picture aren't showing up - just little blank boxes - didn't know if you knew or not lol
anyway, a great yearning choka
love the imagery of the second stanza
and the feeling of longing in the last stanza
thank you for sharing
shelley :)

Another beautiful and passionate piece of poetry. There is an aire of purity and timelessness to this. The hints of nature mirroring the emotion is stellar. I really enjoyed this. Gretchen
