I thought this was well written. And most of all it really makes you think! I like how you share the impact that our choices can have. The power we hold to shape our lives through our decisions. Your poem does a wonderful job of inviting us to think about the significance of our choices.

This looks like a good entry for the contest. Good luck with that!!

I would debate about whether we can choose our beginning. It's possible that we can although I don't know why anybody would want to be born into an. abusive household.

The Lord decides when we're born and under what circumstances and the Lord decides when we die and under what circumstances

Now, you might've meant we control our end because of the way we live our lives

If we lived our life doing good and playing by the Golden rule then we can go to heaven. And, if we are bad or evil and don't repent it or keep repeating it then we'll go to hell

Thank you for your sentiments. I did mean that you literally can't control your birth but do have control about how you live your life. Maybe I'll add that into my author's notes. Thank you!
