Concise and to the point. I believe that on here especially, we send out best wishes, blessings, and love in many forms. I believe they add up, as everything is energy. Enough energy is sent your way to turn the tide. When you went in for surgery I added an ask for prayers on everything I wrote, others did as well. We help as we can. :-) Karen

You really gave this agonizing time, when there's nothing you can do, but wait, dimension. In so few words, which made it stark and powerful! My big brother went through this last year. Glad we still have our older brothers! A great post! Maddy

Hello Maddy.
Your thoughtful review shows you are getting better at reviewing.
You've come a long way since I first met you.
Thanks for the powerful review. Your descriptions of how it worked gave me time to think about how I came to write this poem.
Anxiously waiting for the outcome of my brother's surgery.
Yes, I am happy we still have our older brothers!
Thank you for the sixer! It means the world to me!
Have a lovely Sunday!
Jesse

Hi Jesse. I am glad your brother's surgery went well. I like the rhyming scheme. I hope your brother continues to heal. Well written. Brenda.

First of all, let me say how glad I am to hear that your brother's surgery had a successful outcome. The sparse nature of your poem, the short lines used, and the way you have spaced it, all contribute to the sense of anxiety felt when a member of one's family goes into hospital for a serious operation. An exceptionally fine poem, Jesse.

Thanks for seeing what others missed.
I appreciate your heartfelt congratulations on my brother's successful outcome.
Last but not least, thank you for the exceptional rating and review.

I have been praying for you and now will also do so for your brother. He is fortunate to have this poem to memorialize your strong feelings for him. May God bless both of you richly.

Hello, Jesse!
What I so appreciate about your poetic offering is how it evolved: during the time you were waiting for your brother to come out of surgery. How often writers find themselves in similar situations, and with their gifts of words and their abilities to encapsulate such moments, are able to share with readers said hopes and fears.
Well done!
Thank you for sharing!
And sending healing thoughts and positivity to you and your brother!
Fondly,
diane

Hi Jesse, waiting the outcome of a loved one's surgery can play havoc on a person's nerves. The minutes seems like hours. Your poem is filled with high sensory appeal, and it is a poem that many can/will relate to. My best wishes for your brother's continued recovery. Sincerely, Margaret

Fortunately for us, most of the surgery performed is usually successful, at least statistically, but we do hear stories where it goes awry, but it doesn't stop us worrying, so I'm glad your brother was successfully operated on Jesse, beautifully written my friend, great write, blessings Roy
