This is a cute dialogue with the whistle making sure the reader doesn't get lost in who is talking. A meal is a nice reward. We should probably do that for all the judges who sit there all day and try so hard to be sure everything is done legally.

I guess this is kind of like the old saying, you have to laugh to keep from crying. In these divided times that our country is going through, a person just about has to decide that they are going to make the best of the situation. As you mentioned, if you vote, and do things like write to your representatives and send letters to the editor, you've pretty much done what you can to get your feelings out there. Well done gal.

I just pray that the majority of people will realize in time what we're up against. I'm certainly not for more laws restricting people, but in my opinion, there should be a law requiring the media to be factual and honest. They are the ones causing most of the problems by not telling the truth and misleading the public.
But I guess I've "put my feelings out there" so much people are tired of it. It's hard to try to think of something humorous, though, with what's going on.

Anyway, I like the theme behind this. Be happy, do what you can, if you can, when you can, but don't stress and bring others down.

I was ineligible because I came in 2nd in the song contest and I guess you have to wait 30 days before entering another contest, but that doesn't seem right, either.

Whistle! Whistle! It sounds like someone trying to ignore someone instead of being happy, but then I'm not sure we have a lot to be happy about. We need some new blood with better ideas for the whole country to stand up and be counted. whistle! Whistle!

Funny that it took a little bribery in the form of a burger and pie brought some results! It usually does. Yes, there is a lot at stake this election. If more people got involved, maybe we'd have better candidates. I am worried about the election. Harris has them all bedazzled. In the debate, she acted like she was auditioning for a movie rather than running for president. I hope people have enough sense to see through her. judi

You are exactly right. She was coached - knew the questions and exactly how to get Trump's goat. And the stupids were taken in by somebody who did NOTHING for 4 years except blast Trump and laugh, and they think she can be President?
I tried to enter it in the contest but since I got 2nd in the song contest I can' t enter again for 30 days! did you know that? so I just posted it since I had written it.
